As previously mentioned I have written an article for the Avid User magazine describing the whole production process for my track "The day the walls fell in". This starts off with how I recorded the track and shot the video. As this article was written for a User magazine it's a little bit techie in places but I will follow this up with a making of story soon.

Podcasting is taking the world by storm and I don't want to miss the bandwagon so podcasting@richardhingley.com will start broadcasting from 1st October 2005.

So what is podcasting?, Podcasting is a method of publishing audio broadcasts via the Internet, allowing users to subscribe to a feed of new files (usually MP3's). It has become increasingly popular recently largely due to automatic downloading of audio onto portable players or personal computers, in particular from the iTunes music store. The word "Podcasting" is a portmanteau word that combines the words "broadcasting" and "iPod."

The Website is finally here, and about time too, it's been a real battle to get everything finished and ready on time but apart from a couple of late ommissions, it is all here. So all that is left to say is Welcome and please enjoy the site but please get in touch if you find any problems or feel something needs change.
