Now that's hot!

Hi

Well it's the slow journey back but rather than flying back I have decided to drive to San Francisco and fly to London from there. Well of course driving to San Francisco gives me some more video opportunities including Death Valley. This what the online encyclopedia says;

Badwater in Death Valley is the lowest point in North America, at 282 feet (86 m) below sea level. Generally, the lower the altitude of a place, the higher the temperatures tend to be. This is especially the case there due to the mountains that encircle the valley. The valley radiates extreme amounts of heat, creating temperatures that are among the hottest on earth. The hottest temperature recorded in the U.S., and the second hottest in the world, was 134 °F (56.7 °C) at Greenland Ranch (now Furnace Creek Ranch) on July 10, 1913

It was 5pm when I shot this video and amazingly the temperature was still 108°F or 42°C. - phew!

and back to me...
